Pickup from your Kadriye hotel
Free hotel pickup by minibus is standard from Kadriye and the wider Belek area, so there is no need to arrange your own transport or hire a car for the day.
Pickups run in the morning, and the exact time depends on where your hotel falls on the driver's route that day. Rather than promise a precise clock time we cannot guarantee, we confirm your window the evening before. A few practical notes for a smooth start:
- Wait in the main lobby or at the hotel gate a little early, as resort entrances in Kadriye can be large and spread out.
- Bring a towel, swimwear, a change of clothes and secure footwear such as trainers or river shoes.
- Leave phones, watches and wallets on the bus or in a dry bag, as everything gets wet.
- Have a light breakfast; you will be active on the water and back for a proper meal later.
The journey to Koprulu Canyon
From Kadriye the drive to the rafting base near Beskonak takes around an hour, depending on your hotel and traffic through Serik. The route quickly leaves the resort strip behind, climbing gently into pine-covered foothills as the Koprucay valley opens up ahead.
The last stretch runs alongside the river inside Koprulu Canyon National Park, where the water turns a striking turquoise. It is a genuinely pretty transfer, and the minibus is comfortable and air-conditioned, so the hour passes easily.
What the day looks like
On arrival at the riverside base you are welcomed with a briefing and fitted with a helmet, life jacket and paddle. All safety gear is provided, and a trained guide travels in every raft to steer and coach your group through each section.
The classic run covers around 14 kilometres of grade II-III water. Expect lively, splashy rapids linked by calmer pools where you can catch your breath, take in the canyon walls and, if you like, slip into the cold, clear snowmelt water for a swim. It is genuinely family friendly and suits complete beginners, while still being fun for anyone who wants a bit of adrenaline.
The season runs from around April to October. Early season brings higher, faster snowmelt water; high summer is warmer and a welcome contrast to the heat back at the resort. After the run there is time to change and enjoy a riverside lunch before the return transfer, putting you back in Kadriye in the late afternoon or early evening.
