It's an adventure sport, but every trip includes a helmet, a buoyancy vest, a full safety briefing, insurance and a licensed river guide in each raft. Non-swimmers are welcome because the vest keeps you afloat. Class IV–V is physically demanding, so it's best for healthy, confident participants.
