If you are trying to fit rafting plus an off-road or zipline adventure into a single day near Side, the big question is simple: how long does it all take? Here is the honest, practical shape of a rafting combo day in Antalya.
The short answer: a full day, coast to canyon and back
A rafting combo is a full-day trip. You are collected from your hotel in the morning, driven inland to Koprulu Canyon, run the river, add your second (and sometimes third or fourth) activity, break for lunch, and are back at your hotel by late afternoon or early evening. We never quote exact clock times because pickup depends entirely on where your hotel sits along the coast, but the overall rhythm below is reliable.
Morning: hotel pickup and the drive inland
The day starts with a free hotel pickup in the morning. Koprulu Canyon National Park sits near Beskonak, around 50 km and roughly an hour inland from the Side and Manavgat coast, though your exact journey depends on your resort. Use the transfer to relax, take in the pine-covered mountains and save your energy for the river.
The rafting block
The white-water rafting itself is the heart of the day. The classic run down the Koprucay river is around 14 km of grade II-III water through the canyon, which is exciting yet family-friendly. Once you arrive there is a safety briefing, you are fitted with a helmet and life jacket, and a trained guide joins every raft. The water is cold snowmelt even in high summer, so the splashes are refreshing. Expect the on-water part to run a couple of hours including stops, with the whole rafting block filling much of the morning or the afternoon.
The second activity: off-road or zipline
What makes a combo special is the second block. Most combos run rafting in the morning and the adrenaline half after lunch, or the reverse, so you are never rushing between activities. Your options include:
- Rafting + Quad Safari or Rafting + Buggy Safari - dusty off-road trails through the forest and riverbanks.
- Rafting + Jeep Safari - a rugged 4x4 tour deeper into the Taurus foothills.
- Rafting + Zipline - flying high across the canyon on a cable.
- A 3-in-1 (rafting, zipline and quad or buggy) or the full 4-in-1 (rafting, Tazi Canyon, zipline and buggy safari) for the biggest day out.
Each extra activity adds roughly an hour or so on the ground, which is why a 4-in-1 fills the day more tightly than a single combo. Browse the full range on our combo tours page to match the day to your energy level.
Lunch and the breaks in between
There is a proper break in the middle of the day. Combos usually include a lunch stop at a riverside restaurant where you can dry off, refuel and rest between the two activity blocks. Add short transfers between the rafting base, the off-road track and the zipline platform, plus time to change and store dry clothes, and you can see why the day feels full rather than hurried.
Afternoon: the return transfer
After the final activity and lunch, the same free transfer brings you back down to the coast. You will typically arrive at your hotel in the late afternoon or early evening, tired in the best way and with plenty of the evening left. If you would rather do a single activity, our wider day tours cover shorter options too.
Why a combo is worth the full day
Booking two or more activities on one transfer is the best value we offer. You share a single pickup and a single day, so a combo works out cheaper than booking each activity separately - though for exact pricing we always defer to the live figure on the booking page, since it changes with the season. Note that rafting is priced per person while quad and buggy are charged per vehicle, so couples and families sharing a vehicle often get even better value.
Planning tips
Bring a change of clothes, a towel, secure water shoes or old trainers, sunscreen and a little cash for extras. The rafting season runs roughly from April to October. Combos are active, so if anyone in your group has back, heart or mobility concerns, or is pregnant, please check with our team before booking - we would rather be honest than promise something unsuitable.
