Beldibi is one of the furthest western resorts from Koprulu Canyon, so a rafting day here means an earlier start and a longer minibus ride - but the free pickup handles the logistics and the real grade II-III rapids make it worth the drive.
How pickup from Beldibi works
We collect you directly from your Beldibi hotel or apartment by minibus. There is no need to find your own way to a meeting point or arrange a taxi.
Because Beldibi is at the far western end of the Kemer coast, pickup is earlier than for guests staying closer to the Side-Manavgat corridor. We will not invent an exact clock time here - it depends on your hotel and the day's schedule - but expect a morning collection and a full day out, back to your hotel in the late afternoon or early evening.
- Door-to-door: collected from your hotel lobby, returned the same way.
- No hidden transfer fee: the pickup is included in the tour.
- Just bring: a change of clothes, a towel, sun cream and something for your feet that can get wet.
The journey: how far is Beldibi from the river?
Be honest with yourself about the distance. Beldibi to Koprulu Canyon is around 1.75 to 2 hours by road each way, running east along the coast and then inland up towards Beskonak. It is a scenic drive through pine forest and river valley, but it is not a short hop.
The minibus usually makes a short comfort break along the way. If you are travelling with young children or someone who does not enjoy longer transfers, factor the drive into your decision - this is a full day, not a half-day excursion.
What the day looks like
Once at the canyon you will be kitted out with a helmet, life jacket and paddle, and briefed by your guide. Every raft has a trained guide on board, so you are never on the water alone.
The classic run is around 14 kilometres of the Koprucay river through the canyon, mixing gentle stretches where you can take in the scenery with lively grade II-III rapids. The water is cold snowmelt even in high summer, which is part of the fun on a hot day. The season runs roughly from April to October.
After the run there is usually time for lunch by the river before the drive back. All the technical gear is provided - you supply the clothes that can get wet and a sense of adventure.
Which tour suits Beldibi guests?
For a long-transfer resort like Beldibi, the standard full-day Koprulu Canyon rafting tour is the one to pick. It gives you the complete canyon run and makes the early start worthwhile. You can see the full range on our tours page, and everything specific to your resort - timings, what is included and how to reserve - is on our dedicated rafting from Beldibi page.
A quick honest note: some Alanya-side visitors ask about Dim Cayi, the calm river float near Alanya. That is a gentle, family and photo-style experience rather than genuine whitewater. Koprulu Canyon is the real grade II-III rapids run, which is what we specialise in - so if you want actual rafting, the canyon is the trip, wherever you are staying.
Honest pricing and booking
We will not quote a fixed price or discount here, because rates vary by season and group. What we can say plainly: booking direct with us beats going through a hotel rep or an OTA, and you always pay the live price rather than a marked-up middleman rate.
