Both adventures run on the same wild river system near Antalya, but they are two very different days on the water. On our white-water rafting trips down Köprülü Canyon, the water is graded Class II–III: splashy, cool and genuinely fun, yet forgiving enough that first-timers, nervous swimmers and kids can join with a smile. It's the run we recommend to most groups and families, and the reason it's our best-selling day out from the tour list.
Tazı Canyon is the other end of the scale. Rated Class IV–V, it means bigger drops, tighter lines and water that demands real commitment and a bit of nerve. It's the run for thrill-seekers who want their heart in their throat — the highlight of our extreme adventures range rather than a gentle intro to paddling.
The good news: with us, both are day tours with free hotel transfer, professional guides, all gear and insurance included, and you pay on the tour day. Lunch is included on most trips, and the season runs roughly April to October. So this isn't really about "which company" — it's about which stretch of river suits you.
And you don't always have to choose. Many of our rafting combos pair a river run with jeep, quad, buggy or zipline, and some travellers simply do the calm Köprülü float and the extreme Tazı run across their holiday. Below we compare them honestly so you can pick the right one — or both.
Pick Köprülü (Class II–III) if you want a fun, safe, family-friendly day everyone can enjoy; choose Tazı (Class IV–V) if you're a confident thrill-seeker chasing real adrenaline. Smart move: book a combo and do both — the calm river and the wild one.
White Water GR II If you want the only sounds you hear to be paddles splashing, roaring water and laughter, you are in the right place.
White Water GR III Your morning begins the easy way, with a comfortable pickup right outside your Belek hotel as the air-conditioned coach winds inland toward the Taurus…
Tazı is Class IV–V — genuinely extreme, with steep drops and technical rapids. It's best for confident, reasonably fit adventurers. If it's your first time rafting or you have kids, start with the family-friendly Köprülü Canyon (Class II–III) instead.
Köprülü is our Class II–III run: splashy, forgiving and great for families and first-timers. Tazı is Class IV–V: bigger, harder and built for thrill-seekers. Same beautiful river system, very different intensity.
Yes. Many guests do the calm Köprülü float and the extreme Tazı run on separate days, and we also sell combos that pair rafting with jeep, quad, buggy or zipline. See our combos page to build your ideal adventure.
No. Our rafting tours are pay on the tour day. Booking secures your spot with free hotel transfer, guides, all gear and insurance included — and lunch on most trips.
The season runs roughly April to October. Spring brings the biggest, most powerful water — ideal if you want maximum thrill on Tazı — while summer offers warm, splashy fun that's perfect for families on Köprülü.
