Two of Antalya's most popular adventures pull you in opposite directions. White-water rafting is a team sport: you sit in a raft with strangers-turned-crew, paddle together on a guide's command and let the river do the rest. A quad safari (ATV) is the solo counterpart — you grip your own throttle, kick up dust on forest and mountain tracks, and control your own pace. Neither is "better"; they scratch different itches.
Our rafting side is grounded in what we actually run: guided white-water day tours on the Köprülü Canyon river (Class II–III, family-friendly, from €20) and the wilder Tazı Canyon route (Class IV–V) for thrill-seekers. Every trip includes free hotel transfer, professional guides, all gear and insurance, lunch on most departures, and — importantly — you pay on the tour day. The rafting season runs roughly April to October when the water is at its best.
A quad safari, by contrast, is about the machine and the trail: short bursts of speed, splashing through mud pools, and the freedom of steering yourself. It's drier overall (though rarely spotless) and needs no swimming confidence.
Here's the honest truth most sites won't tell you: you don't have to choose. We sell rafting combos that pair a river run with a quad or buggy session in a single day (€25–49), so you get the team paddle and the solo ride. Browse everything on our tours page before you decide.
Pick rafting if you're travelling as a group or family and love the water; pick a quad safari if you want to be in control and steer your own machine. Best answer for most people: do both in one day with our rafting + quad combo — you get the team paddle and the solo ride without choosing.
White Water GR II If you want the only sounds you hear to be paddles splashing, roaring water and laughter, you are in the right place.
White Water GR III Your morning begins the easy way, with a comfortable pickup right outside your Belek hotel as the air-conditioned coach winds inland toward the Taurus…
Köprülü Canyon rafting (Class II–III) is family-friendly and works well with a group, since everyone paddles together and a guide is in the raft. Quad safaris usually have minimum-age and licence rules for driving, so younger children may only ride as passengers. If you're travelling with kids, our family-suited tours lean toward the calmer rafting route.
It depends on the route. Family Köprülü rafting is moderate, but our Tazı Canyon extreme run (Class IV–V) delivers serious white-water thrills. A quad safari gives a steady, self-controlled rush from speed and terrain. For raw intensity, Tazı wins; for constant hands-on excitement, the quad is hard to beat.
Not to the same degree. Rafting will soak you — that's the point. A quad safari is mostly dry, though you'll likely hit mud pools and splashes, so wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
Yes. We sell combo tours that pair a river rafting run with a quad or buggy session, priced around €25–49. It's the smartest option if you can't decide, and it usually includes free hotel transfer and lunch.
Rafting runs roughly April to October, when the river is at its best; quad safaris operate most of the year, weather permitting. For our rafting tours you pay on the tour day, and hotel transfer, guides, gear and insurance are included.
