The Köprülü Canyon rafting base at Beşkonak is 90.1 km (about 95–115 minutes) by road from central Antalya, 63.5 km from Side and 123.7 km from Alanya — the "49 km northeast of Antalya" phrase on ktb.gov.tr is not a driving distance.

Methodology: all distances were routed via the OSRM routing engine (router.project-osrm.org), driving profile, in July 2026, with the destination set to the Beşkonak rafting area of Köprülü Canyon (37.1043 N, 31.1897 E). Kilometres are routing data; minutes are published as ranges because tour buses making hotel pickups run slower than the routed time, while private cars are often faster.

The Ministry of Culture and Tourism describes the national park as lying "in the mountains 49 km northeast of Antalya". That phrase — copied onto countless tour pages — reads like a transfer estimate, but it is not one: the real driving distance from central Antalya to Beşkonak is 90.1 km, about 95–115 minutes (OSRM, July 2026). Anyone planning a morning pickup on the assumption of "49 km" will be almost an hour out. Quote the ministry's phrase as a location description if you like; never use it as a road distance.
The Side–Belek strip is the natural catchment: Çolaklı (54.9 km), Kumköy (60.0 km), Belek (60.3 km), Side (63.5 km) and Manavgat (63.8 km) all reach Beşkonak in roughly 70–100 minutes. Antalya city and Lara sit in the middle band at about 90 km. The long hauls come from the two ends of the coast: Alanya (123.7 km) and Mahmutlar (135.0 km) to the east, and Kemer (135.7 km) — the farthest of the twelve — to the west. That is why Kemer and Alanya rafting day trips are long days: the two transfers can take as much time as the roughly 2–2.5 hours spent on the water.
Whichever resort you start from, the final approach is the same: the road leaves the Antalya–Manavgat highway at the Taşağıl junction and follows the Köprüçay valley north on asphalt — the Kültür Portalı gives 55 km from that junction for the full climb to the Selge area. The rafting course itself begins about 100 m below the Roman Oluk Bridge, where the river is calm (nationalparksofturkey.com), in the canyon valley between the villages of Bolasan and Beşkonak (ktb.gov.tr).
90.1 km by road, about 95–115 minutes of driving (OSRM routing, July 2026). The “49 km northeast of Antalya” on the ministry's own page is a location description, not a driving distance — planning a transfer around it would leave you almost an hour short.
Of the twelve towns routed, Çolaklı is closest at 54.9 km, followed by Kumköy (60.0 km), Belek (60.3 km) and Side (63.5 km). All of them reach the Beşkonak rafting area in roughly 70–100 minutes of driving, before any hotel-pickup time is added.
Alanya is 123.7 km (about 120–140 minutes) and Mahmutlar 135.0 km (130–150 minutes); Kemer, at 135.7 km, is the farthest of the twelve towns. Tour buses making several hotel pickups usually take longer than these routed times, so plan for a full-day trip.
Every figure was routed with the OSRM engine (router.project-osrm.org) on the driving profile in July 2026, with the destination fixed at the Beşkonak rafting area (37.1043 N, 31.1897 E). Kilometres are routing output; minutes are given as ranges to reflect buses versus private cars.
