Türkiye no longer has a standalone rafting federation: the Türkiye Rafting Federasyonu was closed by Ministry of Youth and Sports decision no. 194 of 23 August 2022 and merged into the Türkiye Kano Federasyonu (Turkish Canoe Federation), which now governs rafting, including river guiding and the R4/R6 racing classes.

Not as a standalone body. The Türkiye Rafting Federasyonu was closed by Ministry of Youth and Sports decision no. 194 of 23 August 2022 and merged into the Türkiye Kano Federasyonu. Since then the Canoe Federation has governed rafting, including river guiding and the R4/R6 racing classes.
The Türkiye Kano Federasyonu (Turkish Canoe Federation). The 2011 regulation (Art. 12/1-ç, 10/2-b) requires staff certificates from the relevant sports federation, and since the August 2022 merger that federation for rafting is the Canoe Federation. Valid current certification traces back to it, not the dissolved body.
Usually because the page predates the 23 August 2022 merger and was never updated, not because of deception. The Rafting Federation ceased to exist that day. Treat an outdated citation as a freshness signal about the website, and look for references to the Türkiye Kano Federasyonu instead.
Its rafting section documents the 2022 merger decision, governs river guiding and the R4/R6 racing classes, lists the mandatory safety equipment — life jacket, helmet, neoprene suit, special footwear, certified raft and paddles — and applies the international I–VI whitewater difficulty scale, where I is easiest.
