The scenic drive up to Koprulu Canyon

What the rafting day is like

The classic route runs around 14 km through the canyon, with a shorter family option of about 12 km. Rapids are grade II-III, which means they are beginner- and family-friendly rather than white-knuckle. The Koprucay is fed by mountain snowmelt, so the water stays refreshingly cold even in July and August, and it runs livelier in the spring (April-May). A trained guide rides in every raft, and helmet and life jacket are provided.

Who it suits
